Chris Wyman is our Director of Property Management here at D’Angelo Realty Group. Let us tell you a bit about him. He grew up in Lancaster County, PA and now lives in Cumberland County with his wife and 4 kids. Chris works as a volunteer at his son’s school PTO in his free time. He also spends free time with the HAM radio hobby and plays both Classical and Folk Violin, in addition to the Bugle.
Chris attended Mt Calvary Christian School and after joined the United States Air Force. This is where he developed a no-nonsense/by-the-book leadership style. This style comes into play dealing with tough decisions working landlords and tenants through evictions and lease violations. While in the USAF Chris also developed an agile and adaptive planning style.
While in the Air Force he also attained a degree in Engineering. In addition, during his downtime, Chris worked for several Real estate brokerages doing various tasks as his Air Force career took him to different places. This allows him to bring Property Management experience from many perspectives and pull the best in class procedures from each of the Property Management Companies that employed him.
After the Air Force Chris held a position with Comcast/NBC Universal. Chris worked on several items, most of which entailed using a detailed approach to solving complex issues that could not otherwise be solved. We find this work also contributes to his unique problem-solving approach to property management. While at Comcast/NBC, Chris completed a six sigma black belt certification which is an industry-recognized project management accreditation and gives a leg up in the property management field.
As Director of Property Management, Chris works in court with our clients, in a productive way. His strong knowledge of the landlord-tenant law and case law works is a great asset. Chris is currently a Pa State Real Estate Salesperson and is pursuing the Pa State Real Estate Brokers License, the highest license possible in his field. Working to obtain his Brokers license has been an exercise of education and field experience. The knowledge he has gathered is invaluable in the management of properties and working with and for our clients.
Chris also contributes to his profession and landlordship by sitting on several Association Government and Legislative affairs committees not only keeping our brokerage in touch with the latest law but also allowing us to advocate for the best interests of our clients and network with others in the real estate professionals across the country. To further expand our network, Chris also teaches and speaks at several local associations and at a few Government Agencies related to housing.
